Transfer stations are a central element of the long-distance waste transport.
Waste from refuse collection trucks is unloaded directly into the hopper and pushed into the container. After reaching the maximum permissible weight, containers are automatically disconnected from the press and transported by rail or truck to the waste disposal facility such as incinerator or mechanical-biological waste treatment plant.
An important feature of the Max Aicher’s containers is its circular cross-section which prevents waste’s jamming in container and ensures its easy unloading. Cylinder as a perfect geometric block with high mechanical stability and low weight. Its susceptibility to corrosion is reduced due to smooth inner and outer surfaces without additional stiffeners. Max Aicher solution ensures not only the aesthetic appearance but also maximum space.
After delivering the containers to final disposal facility, the containers are lifted by crane from the wagons or cars and set on the unloading platform. Trolley installed on platform carries the container to feeding hopper. The trolley is equipped with pushing system which unloads the container.
Max Aicher system allows also to feed combustion chamber directly. Container’s unloading is controlled intelligently depending on demand of the cauldron . Stable conditions, fluent loading and elimination heat fluctuations provide optimization of combustion efficiency. Since the compression in container until unloading the waste does not leave the closed system.
